Data protection
Privacy policy
1. Controller
Controller within the meaning of the GDPR (DSGVO) and other national
data protection laws of the EU member states is:
TTI – Technologie-Transfer-Initiative GmbH an der Universität Stuttgart,
Nobelstraße 15, 70569 Stuttgart, Germany,
represented by the managing directors Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernd
Gundelsweiler and Dr. Eric Braun (see imprint),
E-mail: [email protected].
2. This website collects almost nothing — and needs no cookie banner
This is a purely static website. It sets no cookies and uses no storage or access technologies on your end device (within the meaning of § 25 TDDDG), loads no JavaScript, embeds no third-party content — no external fonts, videos, maps or social plugins — and runs no analytics, tracking or advertising tools. A consent banner is therefore neither required nor present. Your visit is not measured or profiled.
3. Hosting and content delivery (CDN)
When you load a page, your browser automatically transmits technical
access data to the server: your IP address, date and time, the name of
the requested file, the HTTP status code, and the “Referrer” and
“User-Agent” request headers. This data is processed for us by our
hosting and content delivery provider,
Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
(and its EU entity Cloudflare International Holdings Ltd, Ireland),
on the basis of a Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) and Article
6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and
efficient delivery of this website. Cloudflare is certified under the
EU-US Data Privacy Framework (EU-US DPF), and Standard Contractual
Clauses (SCCs) apply as a supplementary safeguard where needed. Access
log data retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes is not
merged with other data and is not used for marketing.
4. Contact by e-mail
If you write us an e-mail, we process the data you transmit (at least your e-mail address; typically also name and message content) for the purpose of handling your inquiry. Incoming mail for [email protected] is relayed via Cloudflare Email Routing (Art. 28 GDPR) to the responsible person's mail provider. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual inquiries) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (interest in responding to contact requests). We delete this data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods (e.g. commercial or tax retention under HGB/AO) conflict.
5. No automated decision-making
We do not use fully automated decision-making or profiling pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR.
6. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR) with regard to your stored personal data, as well as a right of complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). For residents of Baden-Württemberg the competent authority is the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (LfDI) Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart. If you have any questions on data protection, please write to [email protected].
7. Security
This site is served exclusively over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Due to the absence of forms, uploads and user accounts, the attack surface for personal data is effectively nil.

Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
(bzw. die EU-Niederlassung Cloudflare International Holdings Ltd,
Irland)

(EU-US DPF) zertifiziert; ergänzend gelten EU-Standardvertragsklauseln
(SCCs).
